2 Months

Two months was the hardest month for this little guy.  His reflux was the worst while we were in Nebraska.  He was screaming a lot in the evenings and not going to bed until around 12 or 1 am.  It was rough but we were thankful for help and for my patient husband that took the late night shift.  It is so hard to deal with a little one that is fussy and you don't know what to do to help.  Lots of bouncing for this little guy.  I know that we are biased but this little guy just gets cuter and cuter.  He has started to give us some long stretches of sleep at night. He has been more generous than his sister ever was at this age while he has slept an occasional 8-9 hour stretch at night.  This mommy is starting to feel more like a regular human being. Corbin is starting to make more eye contact and tracking with movement going on around him.  Dakota loves to bring him toys and lay with him on his activity mat.

1 Month

This little guy has been growing so fast.  He is nursing like a champ and taking long naps during the day.  He definitely has a loud high pitch scream and likes to let himself be heard. He still hates to get his diaper changed.  He started to become more fussy after about three weeks, spitting up buckets-full and being more irritable so we had to put him on some reflux medicine.  The medicine seems to be helping a little, but you still hate to see your little one in pain.  We can be seen bouncing with him on our exercise ball at all hours of the day and night.  He is feeding about every 2-3 hours and definitely doesn't like to miss a meal.  It is amazing how quickly he is gaining weight for the quantities of spit-up and poop that is coming out of this child.  I do believe that this mommy produces heavy cream for milk.  Even through the fussiness and spit-up, this little guy has already stolen our heart and those chubby cheeks get lots of kisses.
